The Network Power LT03-2 PoE++ Gigabit Ethernet Surge Protector (60W) is an inline network protection device designed for Gigabit Ethernet equipment powered over the same network cable. Ideal for CCTV cameras, wireless access points and other compatible PoE network equipment, it protects the Ethernet connection while supporting both data and PoE power through the device. Unlike basic 10/100 Mbps network protectors, the LT03-2 supports Gigabit speeds and PoE loads up to 60W, making it better suited to higher-powered modern network installations.

• Protects all eight Ethernet conductors. The unit marking specifies protection across lines 18, appropriate for Gigabit Ethernet and multi-pair PoE applications.
• Dedicated earth connection. An attached grounding lead provides the earth path required by the surge-protection device when correctly installed.

• Gigabit Ethernet uses all four twisted pairs in the network cable, which is why this model protects lines 1 through 8. A surge protector designed only for the data pairs used by 10/100 Mbps Ethernet is not equivalent when you are running Gigabit Ethernet.
• PoE++ can supply considerably more power than early PoE systems. The LT03-2's support for 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt means it can be used across compatible PoE equipment ranging from lower-power devices through to loads of up to 60W.
• A network surge protector needs an effective earth connection to provide the intended discharge path. The LT03-2 includes an attached earth lead with a ring terminal, so correct grounding should form part of the installation rather than being treated as optional.
