Ergonomics and Design
The rugged body of the D10, which offers water resistance to 10m, withstands a drop onto a hard surface from up to 1.22m, operates in temperatures as low as -10 °C, and is fully protected from dust, opens up a whole new world of photographic adventure. Two optional strap sets – one for shoulder and neck, one with a carabiner strap - keep your hands free and your camera within easy reach during activities such as climbing and snorkelling. You can also customise the PowerShot D10 with a colourful front cover set. With dimensions of 103.6 x 66.9 x 48.8mm and a weight of 190g the camera fits very easily into a pocket. Framing, reviewing and sharing shots are equally easy with a super-bright 2.5” LCD screen. Night Display mode aids visibility in low light, while a selectable Grid Line display helps with composition.
Picture quality and lens
With a 12.1 Megapixel sensor, you can capture every scene in vivid detail – ready for printing at sizes as large as A3+, or cropping to perfection without losing the detail needed for larger prints. Scenes can be brought closer with the 3x optical zoom which has built-in optical image stabilisation, and an additional digital zoom magnification of up to 12x. As well as powering Face Detection Technology.
