What is elos technology?
elos was invented by the Syneron Medical, the World leaders in medical aesthetic treatments, to provide significant benefits versus laser or IPL. elos uses gentle pulses of two targeted energies (IPL and RF) to penetrate deeper below the skin dermis than laser or IPL alone, precisely targeting the hair follicle for effective treatment. elos enables use of a low overall energy output, subsequently providing treatment times significantly faster than home IPL along with higher levels of safety and comfort even on the darkest skin tones (suitable for ALL skin tones, skin tones I-IV only for facial treatment).

Who can use HoMedics me Quartz?
me Quartz is suitable for use by women and men whatever your skin tone on all body parts below the neck, the device is also safe for facial treatment by women with Fitzpatrick skin tones I-IV to use to remove hair below the cheekbones (i.e suitable for hair on the top lip or chin, do not use to treat eyebrows or hair on the scalp).
If you have naturally blonde, red or grey hair, we recommend that me Quartz is used with the epilator attachment to achieve maximum efficacy (epilator attachment sold separately). Please note: more treatments are still normally necessary for lighter hairs.
