New Orleans Safmarine Rennies Offices. Original Watercolour. Signed Terry White Milhas 1982

Original watercolour painting is expertly done with high degree of architectural realism. An old colonial style building with first floor balcony and two shipping flags out front. The one on the right is the  Safmarine flag, the one on the left is the Rennies flag. These are the Safmarine Rennies offices in New Orleans USA. Sadly Safren closed all their US offices, including that in New Orleans, in 1988.

I am pretty sure these offices were in the historic old French Quarter of New Orleans, which is word famous as the cultural birthplace of jazz. The French Quarter is the original center of the city right next to the modern business district and close to the port and the Mississippi river.

Painting is 35.5 cm x 30. 5 cm. The sheet upon which the watercolour was painted is 46 cm x 36 cm.
