Automatic movement uses the kinetic energy of arm movement to wind the main spring, so no batteries are ever required.

One of the outstanding features of the 4R36 movement, is the hand wind function that allows you to increase the power reserve by turning the crown. This is especially useful if the watch is not constantly worn.
