New York, New York Special Edition (Second Hand DVD)

Robert De Niro and Liza Minnelli star in Martin Scorsese's lavish musical drama about love, ambition and jazz in post-war New York.

Jimmy is an ambitious saxophonist determined to make his mark, while Francine is a talented singer with dreams of stardom. When the two meet, their shared passion for music develops into a turbulent romance as their careers and personalities pull them in different directions.

Directed by Martin Scorsese, New York, New York combines romance, drama and classic big-band music in a stylish tribute to the Hollywood musicals of an earlier era.
