Ngwenya Lodge is situated on the southern boundary of one of the biggest and best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world - the Kruger National Park. At Ngwenya Lodge you can literally reach out and touch the Crocodile River, overlooking the game fence of the Kruger National Park, which passes behind Ngwenya. This effectively incorporates the resort into the greater game area and you have every opportunity to see all the same species (Big Five included) that occur in the game-rich south-eastern section of the Kruger Park, without even having to leave the resort.
The evergreen riverine habitat of Ngwenya provides an excellent setting from which to enjoy great year round game viewing and birding. The river view chalets, set out over two kilometres of prime river frontage, overlook a scenic floodplain, which allows for magnificent views of an area where the big cats often hunt and guests are treated to unsurpassed game viewing opportunities. Our Dam and Bush view chalets are set back on the property and overlook tranquil dams or bush areas, however game viewing hides make game viewing on the riverfront accessible to all.
Please note that no check-ins will be permitted after 21:00. Should you arrive after 21:00, access to the resort will not be granted. Red area forMalaria. IMPORTANT COVID 19 NOTICE: The Resort will have to operate per the Covid 19 Protocols set bygovernment, there will be limited services and/or facilities. For more information kindly contact the resort directly to confirm. please take note that the Kruger NationalPark has begun enforcing strict protocols at all Park access points. (This includes day visits.) A refundable key / breakage deposit is payable upon arrival at the resort.The deposit amount is R 1500.00 for Rental Clients, and R 350.00 for affiliated Club Members. Please note that should this fee not be paid, occupancy will not begranted. Please note that the Key and Breakage Fee is payable upon arrival to the Resort directly. This fee is not payable to Gomelo, as it is a Resort function.NOTICE: Please be aware of potholes on the Tenbosch Road between the N4 and Ngwenya Lodge. Please drive slowly on this road, especially when it's raining. Thebest alternative is to drive via Komatipoort through to the resort. Ngwenya has been in contact with public works to repair the damaged road.
