Avoid using vitamin C products simultaneously. Although they wont cause an adverse reaction, vitamin C can counteract the effects of niacinamide, making the product less effective. If you do use any products that contain vitamin C in your skincare routine, alternate them. For example, if you use Niacinamide in the morning, apply your vitamin C product at night.
NB: This information does NOT apply to Apella Skin's vitamin C serum which can be used in conjunction with Niacinamide. Reason being, we use vitamin C in its pure form (ascorbic acid) and not synthetically. The chemical reaction that takes place with synthetically produced vitamin C and Niacinamide ( Nicotinic Acid ) will not have a neutralizing effect with vitamin C in its pure form (ascorbic acid).
