Size 39 (European) is equivalent to size 8 .5 (US/Canda), size 6 (UK) or size 24.5 (Japan). However, I found that the shoes are slightly smaller than others of the same size. I tried to measure the actual length of the insoles and found that it's only 9.5" in length.
Although I found a number of small scratches on the shoes' leather surface due to the fact that there are no dust
bags to protect the leather surface, these defects are not very obvious unless you try to examine the shoes with a magnifying glass... So, please make sure that you understand that these scratches have already been existed at the time you place your bids in the auction.
