Nichijou primarily focuses on the daily antics of a trio of childhood friendshigh school girls Mio Naganohara, Yuuko Aioi and Mai Minakamiwhose stories soon intertwine with the young genius Hakase Shinonome, her robot caretaker Nano, and their talking cat Sakamoto.
