In Night at the Museum (2006), Larry Daley (Ben Stiller), a struggling, divorced father, takes a job as a night security guard at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. He discovers that an ancient Egyptian artifact, the Tablet of Ahkmenrah, causes all exhibits to come to life after sunset. Larry must manage the chaotic, living exhibits, including a T-Rex skeleton and Teddy Roosevelt, while dealing with former guards attempting to steal the tablet.
