If you are a fan of Nightnoise, this is truly the "long lost" genesis album for which you have been looking. Credited to Billy Oskay and Michael ODomhnaill rather than Nightnoise, AllMusic.com says that this Windham Hill effort is the birth of New Age music. Both artists attempted to create a new musical genre by fusing celtic, jazz and chamber music elements into a new form. The whole is greater than a sum of the parts. I had heard a number of these cuts on Windham Hill samplers and Winter's Solstice releases but had not been able to source this first album until now. I can't endorse it more!
