The ultra-wideangle focal length of 10.5mm brings digital camera users a picture angle equivalent to that of a 16mm fisheye lens on a 35mm [135] format camera.The lens is targeted at Nikon DX Format digital SLR camera users who seek the unique visual effects a full-frame fisheye lens lends to landscape and other shots, to taking close-ups, or when shooting within vehicles or other tight interiors.The AF DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm f/2.8G ED excels at shooting extreme close-ups. Combining a minimum focus distance of just 3cm (1.2 in.) from the front of the lens with Nikon's Close-Range Correction (CC) System ensures sharp results.

About me: I am a private individual / photographer (not an SA shop or importer) who has the opportunity to often travel abroad where I purchase a few photographic products to resell in SA at a reasonable price to earn a bit of pocket money.....Normally I purchase & resell high end photographic products as there is a slim chance of anything ever going wrong with these products.....As with all products, the warranty is limited to the Country of purchase and hence in the event of a complication arising you will need to send the product back to the Country of purchase (in this instance the USA)  for the warranty to be honored.....As a matter of interest most SA shops etc will return the product to the SA distributor who will in turn send the product abroad if it involves a complication which cannot be resolved in SA, hence the waiting period is normally longer than if you just did it yourself...All the photographic products I sell have official serial numbers and will be accompanied with all warranty documentation.
