Very sharp, professional lens with macro focusing at the 35mm end of the zoom range. Some scratches on barrel. Push-pull zoom is smooth and not loose. Rear element perfect. Front element has imperfections on multi-coating at one edge. These slightly cloudy spots do not extend beyond 6mm from the edge of the front element and therefore do not have any visible impact on image sharpness in my opinion. They are too subtle to show in the photo, but if they could be seen, they would be at about 2 o-clock on the front element, directly in front of the word "Nikkor."
