Featuring a +3.0 diopter, the Nikon Close-Up Attachment No. 2 significantly reduces the minimum focusing distance, allowing you to capture highly detailed close-ups of flowers, insects, and small objects. The vintage, single-element diopter filter screws directly onto the front of a camera lens to enable macro photography.

Stacking: You can stack the No. 2 attachment with other close-up lenses (like the No. 0 or No. 1) to increase magnification, though image quality will decrease and optical aberrations may become more noticeable.

No Light Loss: Unlike extension tubes, using a close-up filter does not reduce the amount of light entering the lens, meaning automatic exposure and TTL metering work seamlessly.
