The camera is in superb condition with some light paint loss but very minor

The F2AS is rarely seen at the used market and coupled with the DP12 Photomic

the Nikon F2AS Photomic camera offers the serious photographer the ultimate in quality, performance,

convenience and versatility. It was also the most sophisticated metered prism among all

finders available for the Nikon F2.

The DP-12 finder is the most advanced but also the most expensive TTL metering finder

among all the Nikon F2 finders. It packs all operational features of the F2 basic body with

the electronic sophistication of the DP-12 Photomic Finder to achieve a high level of reliable

performance. You can say it is an AI version of F2SB (With DP-3 finder). It provides an

extended light metering sensitivity of EV-2 to EV17, which enables very-low light metering.

In actual practical term means a full 8 sec. exposure at f/1.4 to a l /2000 sec. exposure at f/8

with an f/1.4 lens and ASA 100 film. It can meter with non-AI lenses but only restricted

to the stop down exposure measurement method.

Included is a soft release and hot shoe adapter
