This film camera is in excellent condition and is a great way for a new photographer to learn the basics of SLR photography. I had used this as a back-up to my D50, and to be honest the images from this camera often exceeded the quality of the digital camera. (My D50 was stolen in October and I have since upgraded to the D90, subsequently I have not used this film camera.) It comes with the instruction manual, batteries and 8 spools of 36 exposure film (2XKodak Gold ASA 200 & 6X Fujifilm Proplus II ASA 100)
The Nikkor AF 28-80mm lens is also included and is in excellent condition. It is rated by Ken Rockwell as being one of Nikon's 10 best lenses....http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/10-best.htm
