This is one of the most capable cameras ever made by Nikon. It has many features that were advanced for its time. This one is in very good condition and operates perfectly.
It was the first SLR in the world to offer a shutter speed of 1/8000 sec. It has full autofocus with single shot, continuous and freeze focus via the MF21 data back which is much more than simply adding time and date to your photos but is used to interact with the camera to give additional features.
It offers matrix metering, 75/25 centre weighted averaging and spot metering. Exposure modes include program and high speed program as well as metered manual and both shutter and aperture priority. It also offers interchangeable focussing screens, interchangeable backs, various exposure options using the built-in motor drive up to 3.3 frames per second.
