The Remote Release Cord from Nikon is a Wired 3.3' long Release Cable that features a Release Button with a Locking Switch for Long Exposures and Burst Photography, reducing Camera Shake, adding convenience, and maintaining Image Sharpness.

Compatible with the Nikon Z50 II and newer models, it provides quick response with Minimal Lag, allowing Easy Connectivity, and adjustable Exposure times, enhancing your Photography experience with precision.

To use the MC-DC3, simply plug the 3 ft, 3 in (1 m) Cord into the 3.5 mm stereo mini-pin headphone/remote jack* of a compatible Nikon Camera and check that [# Connector Function] in the setup menu is set to [Auto Switch].

When connected, the two-stage Shutter Release Button on the MC-DC3 functions in the same way as the Shutter Release Button on Nikon Cameras.

A half-press activates AE/AF, and a full press triggers the Shutter.
