The painting is of the Drakensberg Sentinel Peak.
Nils Anderson is renowned for his portrayal of the depths of the Drakensberg mountains in KZN.
Whilst the painting is unsigned, there is a note at the back of the painting, attributing the piece to Nils Anderson.
The paining measures: 119cm x 90cm framed, and 99cm x 69cm unframed.
Condition:
the painting has slight dirt accrual to the surface, along with age related paint loss to areas where thinner brush strokes were applied to the canvas (please see last image, an up close image of the painting with circle around paint an area with paint loss).
The frame does show signs of age.
