Nineteen Eighty-Four - By George Orwell

Hardcover 1955 fourth reprint after resetting in 1950, published by Secker & Warburg. The jacket, that depicts scenes from the 1956 film, is worn and battered, with a large chunk missing from the head of the spine, a hole in the centre of the spine, and with several other minor chips, creases and tears. The green cloth boards are clean, square and solid. With the exception of some light foxing / spotting to the first and last few pages, all are clean and unmarked. Top edges of the pages are maroon dyed.
