My daughter tried one of her friends cards and it didn't read it, I cannot say for sure however if you purchase it you are purchasing it as though it DOES NOT WORK. YOU ARE BUYING IT AS IS.
If you can get it to work then bonus for you.
PLEASE REMEMBER that game cards do not have the games on it anyway, they are only product keys, you still have to download the games, so it makes game cards irrelevant, digital downloads are the way.
The console is not banned and you can make your own profile, purchase, download and play games from eshop as normal.
The only reason we are selling it as my daughter is no longer interested and is going away to Uni.
