A striking and impressive model of one of the most ridiculous Le Mans oddities.
Nissan decided to enter Le Mans in 2015 with an LMP1 car that 'did not look like an Audi' and was groundbreaking. They came up with the Nissan GTR -LM Nismo.....
It featured a front-mounted engine (like the Panoz) but with front-wheel drive and with hugely complex energy recovery systems. It even had wider tyres at the front.
It was not successful and even after extensive testing it was uncompetitive. It only ran once at the 2015 Le Mans 24hr race.
How this weird car even got approval from Nissan is a mystery as it must have been a costly exercise.
But it is an impressive piece of kit to look at and admire for its insanity and the model captures the car beautifully! This Spark model is now difficult to find.
For all collectors of Le Mans cars or eccentric specialties. I love it....
In mint condition and comes in its original box also excellent.
From my private collection.
