An integrated LCD display on the back of the flash displays all the information on the flashes current settings; including the mode it is set in, the focal length of the lens being used, aperture, and distance the flash can cover.
The PZ 400 flash has a power zoom head that automatically links to the zoom movement of an auto focus lens between 24 and 85mm. When the lens is set at the wide angle (24mm) the flash head zooms to widen to match the area it will light. When a lens is zoomed to up to 85mm the flash head zooms to narrow the angle it’s light will cover to match the lens. This also increases the range of the flash.
The PZ 400’s head can be angled up to 90° (straight above the camera) for bounce flash photography. The head also horizontally rotates 270&Mac176; to project light in almost any direction.
Auto Focus assist light activates in poor lighting to help the camera auto focus.
It has a second curtain sync’ setting so that in long timed exposures the flash will fire just before the second curtain closes the camera’s shutter instead of firing when the shutter first opens.
Multiple Flash Operation- the PZ 400 can be set to fire from two to ten times during the same exposure.
The flash can be set between full power and 1/64 power in manual operation.
