 DIY project suitable for electronic students and hobbyists with electronic assembly  experience.

4x IN-12 Nixie (18mm high) numeric displays (HH.MM) Unused Soviet valves – Pre-tested.

Dallas DS1307 RTC real time clock

Battery back-up for time retention (up to 5 years)

Nominal accuracy : similar to quartz clock.. Simple to correct time.

Atmel AT89C2051 micro-controller. ASM code available for student customers.

Circuit layout on small footprint suitable for retro-fitting into old mantle clocks.
