This came into my possession recently--1st issue of Beano dated 1938.I know first issues can be very valuable and they say only 20-25 copies have survived

...but there was a catch .These reprinted in 1998 to look old and they were given away free to customers.The original Beano's were printed on news type of paper and had 28 pages and the pages looked ragged at the bottom edges because of the way they were cut.The reprints had 24 pages and were printed on a more shiny type of paper.The 4 pages left out were considered propaganda.I have the reprint1f62d.png
