A real collectors piece. Out of a long forgotten storage unit.Quoted on "Classic Pressure Lamps" site, they say the number stamped on the bottom. "No 10560" broken down it is 10 = November. year = 1956. "O" = model. Vintage OWL "Tilley" Guardsman lantern, 300 Candlepower gives a brilliant light for 12 hours on only 1.5 Pint's of Kerosene. Mft in England. The "Owl" Kerosene pressure Lamp with original heat resistant Glass mantel plus a scarce starter/lighter and bottom Vent Sieve, it has normal wear & tear plus it needs a good service. Sold as used second hand.
