NO. 2182) 121 BATTALION PLAQUE - ORIGNAL PERIOD ITEM. FORMED IN EARLY 1980 AT MTUBATUBA IN NORTHERN NATAL. THIS BATTALION TRAINED IN A TRADITIONAL INFANTRY ROLE AND IS AFFILIATED TO THE BRITISH ROYAL REG OF WALES. THE BATTALION SAW ACTIVE SERVICE IN SWA AND ON INTERNAL SECURITY DUTIES.
