A first edition hardcover published by Howard Timmins in 1948
Blue cloth boards with black writing to the spine, browning to top of spine, front & back cover boards are showing netting front cover netting is torn from top of spine to halfway, back cover netting torn from bottom up to halfway, so its just holding together, the internal binding is tight & strong, foxing to front & rear flyleaves & prvious owners stamp on first title page.
Dustjacket is mostly complete but with tears to book ends & a piece missing to centre spine.
Book is sounding like a wreck but a good read or a fixup
