ICONIC LOOK The SSG96 shares the same features as the original L96 with a lot of tweaks on the inside and the outside. The iconic thumbhole is the most recognizable one along with the rectangular shape of the stock. ACCURACY We believe that exceptional accuracy should not be a feature in Airsoft but a basic requirement for a sniper rifle. However, this is not always the case so here we go: The SSG96 is accurate. DESIGNED FOR PLAYERS, BY PLAYERS. On top of that, the rifle is packed with features. Feature Overview The design of the carbine is slick and utilitarian. You will definitely appreciate that in the game! Let's go over the features. CNC RECEIVER The receiver is CNC machined from a solid block of aluminium. Precise manufacturing is the key to supreme accuracy. Lightweight cuts on the side help to save weight and look great. The NATO/Picatinny rail on the top is part of the receiver. No screws, zero movement. TDC HOP UP The hop up can be adjusted from the top via TDC. What does it mean? Unlimited adjustment to your BB trajectory and weight. TDC system allows the finest adjustment ever so your BBs can always fly exactly on the crosshairs. QUICK SPRING EXCHANGE Replacing the spring on the SSG96 can be done in under a minute. Your rifle was shooting too weak or you didn't pass chrono before? This belongs to the past. Maintenance and power adjustments have never been easier. FIRING PIN INDICATOR Imagine the following. You're in the middle of an Airsoft battle. An enemy is hiding in the bushes 70 meters away. You bring the rifle up, aim at the torso and pull the trigger. Nothing happens. The gun is not loaded and the enemy runs away. This happens to everyone from time to time and you can solve this by simply looking at the firing pin indicator to immediately check if your rifle is loaded or not. EMPTY MAG INDICATOR Just like the firing pin indicator, the empty mag indicator will let you know once the magazine is empty. Moreover, it is right in front of your eyes so you won't miss it. Once it pops up, it's time to reload! NYLON FIBRE BODY ABS plastic is the standard for L96 style airsoft rifles, but Nylon fiber reinforced bodies are better. They feel like the real stuff and they can take way more beating. The stock of the SSG96 is almost unbreakable. ATTACHMENT The SSG96 has not two, but three connection point between the stock and the upper receiver and barrel. This makes sure that the rifle is solid and the barrel is firmly attached to the stock with zero movement which results in better accuracy. FOR THE LEFTIES The receiver and bolt handle are ready to be switched to the left side if you're a leftie. No need to buy additional conversion kits. The only thing you will need is a screw driver. TRANSPARENT MAGS This is a game-changer if you're coming from metal magazines. Transparent plastic allows you to simply look at the magazine from the bottom and you immediately know if it's full or if you need to put more BBs in. Super convenient! MAKE IT UNIQUE! The rifle can be accessorized to make it your own and unique from other L96s on the field. It already comes with the drill fluted barrel which looks amazing, but if you want to step it up a notch, we got you covered! ACCURACY Pre-installed is a Maple Leaf 70° bucking which provides 100% seal and is able to lift up to 0.5g BBs. In addition to the bucking, a flat pressure arm has been installed which ensures that the rubber is under even pressure and that the BBs don't curve to the side. FLAT HOP UP ARM In order to ensure a repeatable and consistent trajectory of the BBs, we chose to go with a screw adjustment TDC chamber which keeps the pressure on the bucking even on all sides. The adjustment range of this chamber is infinite so you can set it to your desired trajectory. FULL STAINLESS STEEL The complete cylinder is made of stainless steel. The back is threaded and pinned which provides the most secure connection of the two parts. You won't be able to break it. SPRING GUIDE One piece from stainless steel. Just like the cylinder, there is no way you will be able to break the spring guide. The diameter of the spring guide is 13mm and follows the NOVRITSCH standard. PISTON The piston combines several material to reap the benefits of each of them. Lightweight aluminium body keeps the weight down. The base of the piston is made of steel to prevent wear and tear when the trigger catches the piston. Finally, rubber cap provides superior air seal and plastic glide rings allow the piston to move fast while stabilizing it in the middle of the cylinder without unnecessary friction. TRIGGER BOX Steel sears inside of the trigger box can take up to M220 springs. Active retention of the CNC steel spring guide stopper will ensure that the stopper doesn't fall out while shooting. The engagement angle of the piston and the trigger is 90* STABILISATION To ensure that the inner barrels always points in the exact same direction there is two additional stabilizers built in. One barrel spacer with O-rings on the outside and the inside is installed and also the endcap comes with an o-ring. Your BBs flight path with be consistent and accurate.
