Product OverviewThe MC33897CTEF is a single wire CAN Transceiver provides a physical layer fordigital communication using a carrier sense multiple access/collision resolution(CSMA/CR) data link operating over a single wire medium. This is more commonlyreferred to as single-wire controller area network (SWCAN). It operates directlyfrom a vehicle's 12V battery system or a broad range of DC-power sources. It canoperate at low or high (33.33 or 83.33kbps) data rates. A high-voltage wake-upfeature allows the device to control the regulator used in support of the MCUand other logic. The device includes a control pin that can be used to put themodule regulator into sleep mode.
