Nymphoides Thunbergiana (Floating hearts plant) - bare root young plant

Nymphoides thunbergiana live plant, bare root

1. The plant will be shipped bare root with a little water in a sealed packet : having 3 to 5 leaves, and a root system
2. Will require potting up immediately on arrival in a small pot 
3. Needs to be fully submerged in water and requires sunlight to grow (the leaves will naturally float to the surface , roots fully submerged)
4. The plants are young plants that will develop their first flower within the next 6 weeks. Please take note of their size in the third picture
5. They grow very fast and will be a massive 60 to 80cm diameter spread over the next 4 months
6. Cold weather causes the plant to slow its growth and extreme prolonged cold may cause it to die but generally not something that would occur within South africa 
7. Ideal for fish ponds with fish that won't eat it (Guppies, Mosquito fish, Kurper, Barbs), with koi and the extended Goldfish family it depends on the behaviour of your fish and how well you feed them as sometimes they will resort to eating it
8. Not a true waterlily, however it grows its leaves in a similar way
9. The flowers protrude from the leaves,  just 1 cm or 2cm across but forms a really pretty show when viewed from a distance. 10s of flowers all on their individual leaves on the same plant
10. Very easy to grow unlike waterlilies
