How it works?

The O3 Fruit and Vegetable Washer creates a churning current to physically wash the dirt off your produce and at the same time produces ozone (O3) , using its built in electronic ozone generator to ionize the O2 in the air to O3 (ozone), which is then released into the machine through the pump.
The powerful oxidation effects of ozone cause pesticide degradation, toxin oxidization, sterilization and disinfection.
Ozone degrades to common oxygen and water after approximately 15 minutes leaving no pollutants to harm the environment.

What is Ozone?

Ozone is a naturally occurring trace element in the atmosphere that is produced during lightning storms (high voltage passing through the air). When a molecule of oxygen is bound via oxidation to a third oxygen atom it becomes ozone. The O3 Fruit & Vegetable Washer uses this same principal to produce ozone but in a safe controlled environment.

When washing leafy greens, fill the washer to below the fill line. Because leafy greens don’t weigh much, the water sometimes overflows from the top when there is too much water in the wash bowl.
