The ocarina is an ancient flute-like wind instrument from South America. Variations do exist, but a typical ocarina is an enclosed space with four to twelve finger holes and a mouthpiece that projects from the body. Chris Schuermans has created a strong and precisely engineered ABS plastic ocarina which is made in South Africa.

The most important features are:

  • It is precisely pitched in the key of C.
  • The range of the instrument is from B below middle C to D above high C.
  • Rigid, heavier weight ABS plastic construction for durability and bigger tone.
  • Available in Black, Terra Cotta, Blue and Pink
  • A handy booklet is included with 52 pages and providing fingerings, playing instructions, cleaning instructions and over 40 songs is included.
  • CD is included with demonstration and backtracks for the songs in the books.

This instrument is ideal for:

  • Mastering the Ocarina establishes the techniques required to learn other woodwind instruments.
  • Easy to learn by young children with small fingers.
  • Since it is precisely pitched, it can be played with other instruments in groups
