Odontophorus nanus is South African endemic species from the Northern Cape Province. It is synonymously known as Odontophorus albus, Odontophorus areolatus, Odontophorus herrei, Odontophorus nudifolius and Odontophorus prumulinus. It has a clump-forming habit. It has grey to dark green leaves with dentate margins and from winter to spring it bears creamy yellow flowers.
