DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	An officer's swagger stick with the emblem of the South African Ordnance Department c 1923-1926 (probably also used post 1926) Made of cane and with white metal top sphere and bottom ferrule. It is 71 cm long.
CONDITION	In good condition with only slight wear and a few small dings.

NOTES
Nice collectable swagger stick. It has the first emblem of the S A Ordnance Department (later changed to S A Ordnance Corps in 1934) and with 'Zuid - Afrika' on the Afrikaans side (spelled with a Z) which was used from the establishment of Union in 1910 and changed to Suid c.1926.

The rare S A Ordnance Department badge (in white metal) on the swagger stick.

The ferrule at the bottom of the swagger stick and the initials P B which are scratched on the cane.
