Mariette Pretorius is a South African artist based in Bloemfontein.  She obtained a B tech fine art degree at Free State technicon in 2001. Since then she has been working as a full time artist, as well as teaching part time at the Oliewenhuis  Art Museum.

 

Taking part in many group exhibitions over the years, her work has shown versatility and growth from still life’s and landscapes to portraits and figure studies.
