| DESCRIPTION | A beautiful framed original oil painting by well known and experienced South African artist Paula van Emmenis (born 1949). The painting depicts a still life with a copper kettle and jug, old wine bottle and flowers. The painting is sold framed and has a white period frame with inner frame connected by a textured recessed section, as was so popular in the 1960s and 1970s. It is painted on hardboard (the coarse side). This painting is of medium to large size and in horizontal format. It measures 55 x 96 cm with the frame and 33 x 74 cm without the frame. The artwork is signed by the artist in the bottom left corner and she has dated it ''74. |
| CONDITION | This artwork is in amazingly good condition. It is clean with the colours still beautiful and bright and the frame unmarked. It is ready for hanging up straight away. |
