This 1860's era original Singer Sewing Machine Model 66K old treddle in a walnut enclosed cabinet Model No. 46, is in perfect working condition and has been serviced.
The Walnut enclosed Cabinet Model NO.66
The Singer Enclosed cabinet No 46 fits the Singer sewing machine Model 66K and is furnished in a Walnut Cabinet. The measurements of the cabinet are: closed top: 42cm x 56cm; open top 42cm x 112cm with a Height of 78cm. When the cabinet is open, the left hand side of the cabinet contains two shelves as indicated in the pictures below to store accessories, and the top shelf contains five brass cotton reel holders fitted onto the shelf with a brass fitted plate. When the cabinet is open one can see the bold SINGER logo on the foot plate and treadle base.

The principal parts of this beautiful old treadle Singer Sewing machine are an orate silver face plate (see picture), presser bar lifter, presser bar, tread take-up, arm, balance wheel, bobbin winder, stitch regulator, belt (this machine comes with a spare leather belt), bed which has ornate gold decoration, throat plate, feed dog, bed slide, shuttle, presser foot, needle, needle bar and upper tension. The machine is magnificiently gold printed with the Singer Sewing machine Great Britain on the top of the arm, the bed has a serial number engraved on a brass plate No. Y9481988. There is a complete original instruction booklet included as can be seen in the pictures below.
