A miniature book in full suede leather with bright gilt on spine. Beautiful original pictorial endpapers, the front depicting a lady in Victorian or Edwardian dress in a lush garden. Rear features a man in early Victorian dress holding a book behind his back and walking in the same garden. Two full page raised colour plates comprising frontispiece and title page. All leaves still securely attached but there is a hinge split after the front free endpaper and a couple of closed tears at the hinge. Some areas of slight discolouration on the hinge but nothing serious. Complete text, 142 pages. Dimensions 13 x 7 x .7 cm., or about 4 x 2 x 1/4 inches. Lovely little book about Christmas, scarce in this edition. DHL Express takes about one week anywhere in the world.
