Rare and Collectable.

Old Cast Iron Paperweight.

Size 120mm x 90mm x 75mm.

Heavy - weighs just over 1.5kg.

The following wording is cast in the metal. "Royal", "Regal Typewriter Company Inc, 75 Varick Street New York N.Y. U.S.A." and "Advertisng Statuettes Corp N.Y."

The keys on the keypad are arranged to read - "Regal the ultimate in typewriter value."

The top comes off and the space inside was most probably used for paper clips or pins.

Please note that there is some paint loss from age. It is difficult to say but I would date the paperweight to be around the 1920's / 1930's.
