OLD PIGEON RACING TIMER/CLOCK

Burk's Fabrikat - Likely German

This is a beautiful and rare old pigeon racing timer or recorder, branded "Burk's Fabrikat" and was likely made in Germany pre-1950.

The wooden case is in good condition with some wear and tear but no major damage. A plaque seems to have been removed from one side.

The recorder appears to be all original and the mechanism looks in good shape, with the original recording paper still installed. The dial glass is cracked, but can easily be replaced.

Unfortunately I have no idea how this clock works, so it could not be tested.

Bear in mind that the clock may require a service/adjustment/repair in order to work again.

The clock measures 17cm x 14cm x 12cm in height, excluding the handle and winder.
