Old German Hunting Sword or Cutlass.
I am not sure whether this is an old German hunting knife or cutlass.
It has its makers name with a picture of a lion as depicted.
In front of the lion is a symbol unknown to me, but which could have a military significance.
It also has a number 197 stamped on the blade.
The handle is made out of a very high quality wood with 5 rivits in it.
The scabbard frog is made out of genuine brown leather and is still in very good condition.
The scabbard is made out of black leather but is missing its brass tip.
The length of the blade is 550mm. ande the blade is 35mm. wide.
