Old Lister Volt Meter.

Reads from 0 to 50 volts.

In order to test if it works, I connected the meter to a car battery and the meter indicator went up to 12 volts. Further than that I cannot say.

The housing is made from tin.

I think that this old volt meter was used on a Lister engine for a lighting plant. In the old days, some of the farm houses used 32 volt electricity.
