THE SWORD HAS THE END PIECE OF THE HANDLE AND THE SHEATH MISSING. DEVIDED INTO 7 SECTIONS WHERE EACH SECTION HAS 2 INTRICATE CARVINGS. I AM NOT SURE IF THIS IS CHINESE OR JAPANES BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS IS A CERIMONIAL SWORD. I AM NO EXPERT.
