I dont' know much about swords, all I can tell you is that this was given to me by my great uncle 40 years ago and he'd had it for quite some time. Total lengh is 900mm it has some engraving on the blade and the handle is a lions head (I think) the scabbard is showing signs of age but the sword is in good condition.
