Very interesting old 9 ct rose gold diamond signet ring, in good condition. The story behind this ring, as received from the previous owner in her own words is as follows: "This ring was given to me many years ago by my stepmother. She said that her father was a jeweler in South Africa and, being German, a staunch supporter of the Ossewa Brandwag movement which was apposed to South African participation in the war against Germany. He apparently gave this ring to her mother and called it her 'Ossewa Brandwag' ring - whether he made it himself, had it made or bought it somewhere I don't know. It is engraved with a wagon, oxen, mountains and the sun is an embedded jewel - small diamond/diamond chip or sapphire - i don't know - but was made in the days before cubic. The hills and sky are colored - here again I am not sure - I think probably enamel paint but my friend is convinced it is a thin veneer of some stone."

Return policy
Two weeks return of items for refund based on mutual agreement between seller and buyer. Postage to buyer and back to seller is not refundable, only the item.
