Lovely old walnut canteen box measuring 46cm by 34cm and standing 7.5cm tall, useful for storing cutlery. The box is in good condition, it has all its hinges. It is missing its escutcheon plate, this could be made, and has no key. The interior shows some wear and some missing wooden dividers, but the blue satin interior is still present. I thin this may have been a box to hold a set of knives.
