OLDER CONTESSA SEWING MACHINE BY ELNA IN EXCELLENT CONDITION

This sewing machine was purchased brand new but was seldom used over the years other than for an occasional fabric repair etc.  It was never used commercially and has been standing unused for the last five years.  It has just been tested and found to be in good basic running/working condition although not all the knobs and dials were functionally tested!   It is, however, recommended the buyer have it serviced to ensure long term usage.

The Contessa name was made under license from the famous Swiss company ELNA so its heritage indicates a better-quality product.

It comes complete with the foot pedal, cables and original owners handbook with detailed instructions on usage as well as a vinyl dust cover.  Also included are some accessories, bobbins etc.

In addition, for any bids of R800 or over will include a box of 100 Zwicky mercerized cotton thread spools in an assortment of colours  (see included photo).  These threads are ideal for woven fabrics that require little or no stretch and are heat resistant.  Each spool contains 150m of thread suitable for hand or machine sewing.
