This is an all-in-one laser printer, scanner, fax and copier. Networked (RJ45 Cabled) or USB and standalone.

Why buy this machine instead of a new cheaper one?

Toner cartridges for this machine cost in the vicinity of R300, the cartridge allows you to print around 3000 pages before replacing the cartridge (the technical specs say up to 3600 pages).

The new cheaper machines you will find are not made for commercial use, they are for SOHO use and cannot handle the volume this machine can, this machine's toner cartridge is bigger and cheaper than the ones for the cheap machines.

As far as maintenance goes this model has been designed for the drum to last the entire lifespan of the machine therefore while I cannot guarantee anything the machine should last for many years.

Per the status page on the machine we have only printed 27,712 pages.
